Quick At-Home HIIT Workouts

Quick bursts of self-care.

My wellness and fitness goals have been put to the test by this quarantine. I had all the intentions of making the most of this downtime to get myself sorted, you know? Glowing skin, great nutrition, lots of rest, hydration, yoga, workouts, etc. Instead, it has been an extremely challenging and busy time at work. Some days I hardly move, don’t get out of sweats, and don’t focus on fueling my body with healthy foods. Definitely a case of expectations vs. reality. Not to beat myself up, but more so acknowledging that the time I have to give to these things isn’t as much as I had assumed it would be. With that, I’ve changed my goals to getting more creative with short bursts of self-care.

I discovered this new channel, MadFit by Maddie Lymburner. I am obsessed with her! She has great quick HIIT workouts for full body or more targeted areas. I put these on my TV in the morning and even doing one video helps me feel more focused and in tune with myself throughout the day. She has these really fun dance ones as well, for those times you just need to get pumped for the day and bust a move haha. I aim to do these around 4 times a week, and a quick yoga flow for when I am feeling like resting or stretching.
